Like the subject says, it's pretty darn cold. Cold enough so that the snow we got last week lingered. It did manage to get me out of school for a couple days and I didn't have to work Thursday, so that was very nice indeed.

I know it's been a long time since I've done anything or worth, or indeed, even been around here (last journal was... March of 2006? wow), but I am proud to say I've begun the sadomasochistic process of writing again. It's going fairly well, but I don't expect to be putting it up here any time soon.

One last thing before I disappear again. Do not read Eragon. Or, if you do, do not read Eldest. Or, if you do, promptly kill yourself. Both books were boring and predictable. It's definitely for children, as anyone with a higher awareness of pop culture will realize it's nothing more than a mish-mash of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, with elements from Dune and other popular fiction thrown in for good measure. (I mean, Elva is totally a freakin' Alia, come on.)

I think I just made myself sick thinking about those books. Bleh.
